Thank you to all the moms who are unable to pray in person with MomsHooPray or University of Praying Moms — but diligently do as this mom does every time she receives our email prayer alerts:
Literally, I stop the work, read the prayer and pray. I hardly do that for anything. Anyway, thank you for taking time to update. Prayers Up!
“There is something very comforting to hear other women lift up your children in prayer. At University of Praying Moms our students are all at different campuses but they all share many of the same pressures and they all need our prayers. I always leave feeling a burden has been lifted and I am deeply thankful for these women. We have experienced great joy in answered prayer and heartfelt concern for each other’s children.”
Barb D., mom of Bryson – Whitworth University/2017 and Lydia – JMU/2021
Once our children leave for college we are left with the blessing of prayer. Our prayers for our children align our desire for them with God’s perfect will. By praying alongside other similarly situated college moms, I experience a peace and assurance in the process. Bonding with other sisters in Christ to pray for our college-age children together has given me a peace that surpasses all understanding. I love telling my sons that there are many other moms lifting them up in prayer. Prayer allows me to know that my sons have God’s grace, mercy, provisions, guidance and protection. Amen!
Cindy H., mom of Ryan – Vanderbilt/2019 and Ben – William and Mary/2021
